Down Home Consulting wrote an improved version of the Os Commerce payment module. The new version prevents the problem of missing orders if the customer does not return to Os Commerce after making the payment. It creates the Os Commerce order at the point the customer completes the payment on HSBC but before leaving the HSBC site. Installation is simple. Only copying the files and make one small change to one OsCommerce file. The only server requirements are that PHP has the mhash and mcrypt module. Many ISPs include one or both of these modules already. So you may already have them.
